Founded in 2021 -

swindesign.live constitutes a virtual environment curated for Vocational Education & Training (VET) interior design courses presented by Swinburne University of Technology's Department of Design.

This digital space serves as a practical learning platform where students can demonstrate their skills and knowledge in line with competency assessments. It mimics real workplace conditions, ensuring that students are well-equipped for their future careers.

Additionally, the platform functions as a virtual exhibition space, providing Interior Design students with an alternative to physical events hindered by social distancing, travel restrictions, and government regulations.

Bridging the Gaps -

“Reflecting upon my own enriching learning experience at The National School of Design on the Prahran Campus, I've merged modern technology with timeless design principles to establish a digital realm that honours the school's heritage while embracing the contemporary landscape.”

This platform serves as a conduit connecting the past, the present, and an expansive horizon of creative possibilities, with the aim to shepherd and motivate emerging designers, akin to how “The National School of Design” has done for countless generations. The curation of this virtual sanctuary is both a privilege and a duty, nurturing progress, igniting imaginative thinking, and perpetuating the legacy of artistic excellence.
